Hi Jim,
How are you doing? I hope all is well. I've got great news! Do you remember when
we talked about having a cooking event in English? I've found the perfect place and
booked it on Feb. 4th. The space is in my community center and it has a fully
equipped kitchen. There are plenty of cooking utensils and space for 8 to 10 tables.
All I need to do is rent some hotplates so people can cook in pairs at each table.
To cover the cost for renting the equipment and buying the food we're going to cook,
I'm going to charge \2,000 per person. I already have 10 people signed up. Can you
ask around and try to recruit a few more to come to the event? Twenty in total would
be ideal. That would be enough to cover the costs and maybe put a few yen in our
pockets. Let's get together sometime next week so we can iron out the details.
