My dream home is located next to Shuswap Lake in British Columbia, Canada. It is an two story A-frame style cottage with a large, partially covered wooden deck overlooking the lake. The first floor has a bedroom, a small kitchen, a small bathroom, and a reading area with a desk and computer. There are large glass doors facing the beach so you can get up in the morning and go down to the beach for a quick dip. The second floor has a good sized kitchen with glass doors to access the deck, a living room, two bedrooms, and a full-sized bathroom. The kitchen has lots of counter space and state of the art appliances because I love cooking. The living room is more like a home theater with all the gadgets to enjoy movies, games, and music. Overall, my home is a strange balance of rustic and high tech. I can't wait to retire there.
