Yummy Noodle is by no means a traditional style ramen shop. In fact, walking into it you might think you are entering a Manhattan martini bar. It's very chic with a long pine counter and modern angular tables and chairs. The walls are a kind of 'brushed aluminum' and decorated with prints by well known graphic artists. It doesn't feel like a ramen shop at all, until you look at the menu. It has all the usual fair available in sets with fried rice or dumplings. I had BBQ pork ramen with dumplings. The soup was AWESOME!!! Incredibly rich and tasty! I tried the soy version, but miso is also available. The noodles were cooked to perfection and the pork was tender and delicious (made on the premises). Although the dumplings weren't earthshaking, they were quite satisfying. The fast and friendly service made for a very enjoyable lunch. I bet it would be even better as a midnight snack.
