Nice to hear from you. Sounds like you are really organized. We are really looking forward to your visit. As for winter in Tokyo, it's not that bad. The temperature goes down into the single digits, but almost never below zero. It's only snowed once in the last few years. As long as you bring a few sweaters and a good winter jacket, you should be fine. A pair of gloves and a scarf might not hurt either. One thing that might surprise you is our place doesn't have central heating, so it can get quite chilly. We keep warm with a 'kotatsu'. It's a low table with a heater under it and a blanket to cover your legs. It might be hard to imagine, but I'll show you when you get here. Anyway, have a safe flight and we'll see you in a couple of days.
