Hey Paul,

How's it going? I'm afraid I won't be able to come for on the 1st. I was really looking forward to having my first sake of the year with you, but something came up. I got a call from my dad and he wants me to go home and spend some time with my grandma. She's 91 and has slowed down quite a bit this year. I probably should go and spend New Year's Day with my family. Why don't we meet up in the next month? We can catch up then. Let me know if you can do it.
