Hi Sam,

How are you doing? I hope all is well. I just wanted to let you know I sent you a summer gift. It's not 'Ochugen' in the traditional sense, but I know how much you love soba. I got you some 'Shinshu soba'. I think it's the best soba in Japan. The best way to eat it is 'zaru' (cold in a bamboo basket). Also, try and get your hands on some fresh wasabi. Add some ice cold sake and you have a perfect summer lunch. I hope you enjoy it.
