Hello John,
How are you doing? I guess you must be getting ready for your trip next week. I thought you might like some tips for what to bring. February is quite cold in Tokyo so you may want to bring some heavier clothes. There's no snow so you don't have to go overboard. A few sweaters, some long sleeve shirts and a good winter jacket should be enough. Also, my place doesn't have central heating so it's rather cool inside as well. On the other hand trains and offices are often over heated and stuffy so cotton or some material that breathes is a good bet. I'm really looking forward to seeing you. I'll be in touch again before you leave.
